Struthers Middle School August 2018 Newsletter

Welcome to Struthers Middle School. A special welcome to our fifth-grade students and any new students to our district. We hope you enjoy your experience at SMS and become actively involved in curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Please join us in welcoming the following new staff members to SMS for the 2018-2019 school year:
  • Mrs. Janet George (5th Math). Mrs. George taught at SES last year and has made a return to SMS.
  • Mrs. Sarah Tringhese, who will be teaching 5th grade technology.
  • Mr. Brad Blasko will be our new Jan Tech at SMS.
  • Mrs. Sandy Romack will be our new café tech.

We can’t believe how fast the school year is going. Our eighth-grade students are scheduling for their high school courses, and we kick off the spring sports season on Wednesday, April 11. Our band and choirs are preparing for their spring concerts in May. The choir concerts are on Thursday, May 3.
