2017 Ohio Report Cards Update

The Ohio Department of Education recently released the 2017 Ohio School Report Cards. There are no new measures on the 2016-2017 report cards. Districts and schools are graded on six components - Achievement, Progress, Gap Closing, Graduation Rate, K-3 Literacy and Prepared for Success. Districts and schools received an A-F grade on each of the six components and most of the individual measures. The Guide to 2017 Ohio School Report Cards provides a more in depth overview and explanation of the key components of Ohio’s 2017 Report Cards.

2016 Ohio Report Cards Update

The Graduation Rate component of the report card looks at the percent of students who are successfully finishing high school with a diploma in four or five years.
