ABOUT THE TEACHER: I am a graduate of Ashland University with B.S. in Education K-8. My minors were Psychology and Biology. My Masters is from Y.S.U in Middle School. My post Master work was in Counseling and Psychology. I taught in several places before coming to Struthers; Columbus, Chicago, Geneseo, IL and a summer in Alaska. I strive to create a nurturing environment where children can reach their full potential.
ABOUT THE CLASS: Fourth grade is a very busy time. The children are developing independence, responsibility and organizational skills. They are switching classes and learning the skills they will need in the future. We develop units in Math and Science and test at the end of each unit. We also have weekly Math tests on concepts we worked on during the week.
