As a first year teacher, I am thrilled to be a part of the Wildcat family here at Struthers Middle School. I recently graduated in December of 2010 from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor's degree as a K-12 Intervention Specialist. I was blessed to spend time here as a long term substitute in a Language Arts resource room immediately following graduation for 6 weeks. After my time spent here as a sub, I knew I wanted to pursue a full time position in this school and community. Following the completion of this permanent substitue position, I finished out the school year at Austintown Fitch High School as a permanent substitute in a math/science resource room. My hope for this school year is that my passion for teaching can drive each student to an abundance of success in the classroom.

About the class:

In the morning, I work with Mrs. Russo in her choir class. I will be co-teaching with Mrs. Fox in Language Arts as well, while providing assistance with accommodations to help the students. I will also be co-teaching with Mr. Daltorio in math, and Miss Nash in science.
