ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Speech-Language Pathologist since 1978; started at Struthers City Schools 1999

Philosophy of Teaching and Professional Mission:
I feel that my professional skills and experience with children and young adults has expanded my role in the educational process. As a facilitator, I believe my services are only a part of a very broad spectrum to which students are exposed.
During a child's growth, an effective instructor should motivate and instill a desire for further learning. As a Speech Pathologist, I believe I can instill and nurture the confidence that a student needs to open the doors of opportunity. I strongly support the overall mission of educational excellence and collaborate effectively with parents and teachers to help students achieve their highest potential. I believe my services are a reflection not only of my professional skills; but also of the school system I represent and the successful outcomes of the students with whom I have worked.
Throughout my career, my professional mission has been to provide the highest of quality services while integrating the student, family, and fellow professionals in a team effort that benefits the student's progress.
