Struthers High School students received ribbons for a dozen of their submissions at the ESC of Eastern Ohio Art Show on Tuesday, including one artwork receiving the ESC of Eastern Ohio’s Purchase Award.
The Art Show featured student artwork from 14 local high schools. Struthers art students submitted more than 2 dozen artworks in many of the 22 judged categories. Wildcats took home ribbons for 12 pieces in seven categories including collage, colored pencil, ink drawing, pencil drawing, printmaking, scratchboard drawing, and watercolors. Dog Scratchboard, 10th student Talisa’s scratchboard piece, was awarded the ESC of Eastern Ohio’s Purchase Award.

- 3rd Place: Flutter Wonder - Printmaking by Mykajah Martinez

- Honorable Mention: Female Monarch & Female Black Swallowtail - Colored Pencil by Ella Stiver

- Honorable Mention: Ocean’s Night - Printmaking by Arielle Bodak
