A 2.8-mill permanent improvement levy on the May ballot would replace an expiring bond and facilities maintenance fund.
Informational Meeting
There will be a community information meeting on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at Struthers High School (111 Euclid Ave., Struthers, Ohio). The community is invited to attend to learn more about the levy and what it can provide for our school buildings and property.
About the Levy
According to Ohio Revised Code, permanent improvement funds can be used for any property, asset, or improvement with an estimated life of usefulness of five years or more. Permanent Improvement funds CANNOT be used to pay for district operating expenses such as employee salaries and/or employee benefits.
