The Struthers Elementary School Fall Fest Parade will be Friday, October 29, 2021 at 12:30 p.m.
Costumes must follow the school rules and be safe to walk in. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s costume, please feel free to call the administration before purchasing the costume.
Students are to bring their costumes and treats with them in the morning. PARENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO COME IN AND DROP OFF ITEMS FOR THEIR CHILD BEFORE THE PARADE. All treats must be pre-wrapped to ensure the safety of children with allergies.
Teachers will ask for classroom volunteers in advance to help with the students getting into costumes, walking in the parade and helping with parties.Only approved volunteers with BCI checks are permitted to be in the building.
The parade will begin on Elm Street at the entrance of the drive. The students will parade around the building traveling down 9th Street to Lincoln up 8th Street and return to Elm Street. The parade will be outside weather permitting. If there is a need for the parade to be moved inside, the gymnasium and cafeteria will be used. We will open the gymnasium and cafeteria doors to allow parents into these areas only and mask would be required.
Students will follow regular dismissal times.
