Daily communication with your child regarding school is critical. However, many middle school students do not talk openly with parents anymore. Below are some common questions to ask.
1. Who did you sit with during lunch today?
2. What’s the favorite part of your day?
3. Tell me one thing you learned today?
4. How did your project/test go today?
5. Can you tell me about a character from a book you are reading?
6. What is the hardest part of your day?
