Struthers High School Seniors - Apply for the New $8,000 Scholarship

The Guidance Department at Struthers High School announces a new $8,000 scholarship available to one graduating senior. The Otis R. Heldman Sr. and Jr. Scholar-Athlete Awards and Scholarship recognizes achievement in both academics and sports over four years.

“This scholarship is a wonderful opportunity to help one graduating senior. We also feel it is an excellent way to provide incentives to underclassman to keep working hard both in the classroom and on the field,” said Sandra Ross, Guidance Counselor.

This scholarship was created in memory of these two influential Struthers residents. Applications for the Heldman Scholar-Athlete Awards and Scholarship are available in the SHS Guidance Office. Future fundraisers are being planned to perpetuate the scholarship.
