Sixth Grade Teachers Receive Generous Donation from Community

Sixth Grade Teachers Receive Generous Donation from CommunityThe 6th Great teachers at Struthers Middle School were presented with a generous donation from Abundance Harvest World Outreach Center in honor of Shirley Angelo, a member of their congregation and former Struthers graduate who passed away recently.

Jacob Pangio, a 6th Grade student at Struthers Middle School and the grandson of Pastor Joanne Pangio, shared a special relationship with Ms. Angelo. To recognize and honor Ms. Angelo, a monetary donation and supplies were collected from the church drive and was given to the 6th grade teachers to assist students in need.

The 6th grade teachers and students greatly appreciate the thoughtful and generous donation from Abundance Harvest World Outreach Center.

STRUTHERS CITY SCHOOLS MISSION

The Struthers City School District in cooperation with family and a community founded on tradition, recognize our role as a catalyst for change to enhance student achievement and develop good character as we create appropriate academic, technological, and vocational opportunities for all students.

Based on the needs of our students, we are dedicated to providing a diversified, integrated, and flexible curriculum that develops independent and responsible citizens capable of making critical decisions.

As a primary partner in providing educational leadership, we will create links with family, business, and community agencies to ensure the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
