Volunteers also sign up for different events at Akron Children’s Hospital where they can interact with patients and other medical professionals. In this club, we also raise money for Akron Children’s Hospital through their Koins for Kids campaign and make greeting cards and bring in toys for Christmas during the holidays. HPAC is another subgroup in this club that meets to solve a health crisis in our area. In both 2017 and 2018, the group focused on Childhood Obesity and won two years in a row in the Health Division at the competition at NEOMED. Students can also study research done by student interns at the Cleveland Clinic and interpret their findings using creative outlets, including: art, math, and literature.
